Research shows 23% of Iranians are already non-believers but they don`t dare to speak out. Religious insanity has a stronghold on the Iranians as a whole, just as religion had a stronghold on Europe for centuries throughout history. Iranians speaking out anonymous or from abroad in the Persian language will make sure more people will hear the message.

Where can I find this research?
Of course they don't dare to speak because they will be punished by death.

Iranian atheists are the biggest troublemakers and persecutors of Persian history. They talk about intolerance whereas they are the most intolerant of all, being consumed with hate for those who wish to peacefully embrace Faith. What kind of 'emamcipation' is this that does not even allow you to respect the beliefs of others? Iranian atheists talk big about the so-called persecution of "moderates" in post revolution Iran. But I've never heard these buggers speak one word about the horrific atrocities inflicted by Pharoah Reza Shah Pehlavi. Don't you guys ever get tired of casting stones at others from a glasshouse?

Well, I can't say that since atheists haven't had any power to do anything. And we're not "consumned by hate for those who wish to peacefully embrace faith", we just want to be free and pratice owr own beliefes. We condemn all sorts of crimes, from all regimes.

And to your information, Reza Pahlave WAS religious.

I absolutely despise Iranians, particularly the ones abroad in countries like US and Canada. They think for some reason they are Caucausion, they are ashamed of thier religion. For instance at mosques here in the US I see south asians, bosnians, arabs, africans, but rarely do I see Iranians. Why because they are ashamed of thier religion, they think it is above them. I used to think Iranians are my brothers and sisters and if Israel attacks Iran I would fight for Iran myself, but after seeing what a bunch of traitors Iranians are I hope Isreal destroys Iran to peices. FUCK PERSIANS! And for the ones who are ardent followers of Islam, or who are at least semi religious or not afraid to tell people they are muslim, my heart is still with you and always will be.

Thank you for the language!!! I am pretty sure that your god will praise you for swearing at a whole race of people.
Atheists believe in one thing and thats not being an asshole while religions make people assholes. I am an Iranian and hell I don't think I am Caucasian. With your analogy, since you are a Muslim, you think you are an Arab.
It's just Iranians are more open minded after seeing what a bullshit can religion bring them.
Respectfully yours,
Awakened

The majority of Iranian people from the generations who were born after the revolution are either atheist or do not believe in any religion at all and 1000s of Iranians are converting to other religions such as Zoroastrianism, Baha'i and Christian religions every year.
As an Iranian, I see the diversion from Islam the best thing ever happened in Ira since the Arab invasion of Persia 1400 years ago.
The majority of Iranians respect the Pahlavi kings for their contributions that modernized Iran, gave freedom and equality to the women and minorities, freed millions of people from feudal slavery and made the Iranian people proud and respected all around the world, but the main reason the Pahlavi's plans failed and the Islamists took over was the fact that we had too many religious fanatics in Iran who opposed modernity and the mullahs and communist influence on the society that deceived the people.

Now the new generation of Iranians are awakened and open minded, once we get rid of this barbaric Islamic occupying regime, Iran will become one of the best countries in the world, even better than what it was during the Shah and now a true democracy is possible.

I do not believe that 23% of Iranians are non-believers what I discovered by talking with other Iranians is that they actually are more religious(Islam) than what they think they are(Iranians living in Iran and those who live abroad). And they hate Arabs because their invasion brought Islam....Why do they hate something they believe in??.THAT IS THE PROBLEM! The ignorance killllllls me wake up people "religion is a crutch for the weak minded" weather it is Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, bahai or what ever it is.

I am Iranian and I am proud to be an atheist :) even though we are a very small minority hehe

I am caucasian we are usually decent people. Noone can help their skin colour. We hate our government and are sorry for the trouble they are causing. But please leave apostates alone - thousands come to the west to escape Islam - they are decent people who just don't believe. You can be s cultural Muslim without taking it literally.
